Spirit Guides – 3 Tips for Successful Psychic Communication
Friday, April 10th, 2009Anyone can make contact with their spirit guides. This is not a gift for a few special people. It is a learnable skill that with consistent practice will become second nature to you.
Tip #1 Don’t try and force communication. The harder you try, the more you will get stuck in your head and the less likely you are to connect to your spirit guides. As soon as negative self-talk arises and all your reasons why spirit communication isn’t possible say to yourself, “Thank you very much for showing my limiting thoughts,” and cancel them out by refusing to pay attention to them.
Tip #2 Cultivate deep self awareness. This means get in touch with your spiritual essence by taking time to focus inwards with focused intention. An excellent way to do this successfully is close your eyes to shut off external stimuli. This increases your ability to see, hear, feel and know the energy that is present around you and exists within you.
Tip #3 Begin a conversation with your spirit guides. You may wonder where to start? Your best first step is to center and ground yourself. This ensures you are ready for communication with your spirit guides. Once you feel a sense of calm, your spirit guides will attune to your frequency because you have intentionally aligned yourself with their vibration. If you feel any nervousness or excitement, take deep breaths to transmute the energy build up.
Now focus on listening, feeling and receiving clairvoyant images in your Mind’s Eye also known as the Third Eye by closing your eyes. Trust what comes to you. Write down any thoughts or impressions you receive. They may seem silly or obvious however, when you look at these ideas a few days later or even months later, you will see the information makes sense to you.
Affirm: “Communication with my spirit guides is effortless.”
I must confess I never expected to have so much energy at 25 weeks pregnant. Here’s a photo of me doing yoga with “Chicken Soup For The Soul” author Mark Victor Hansen in Las Vegas.
