What is your Financial Future in 2010?

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

Congratulations! You made it through 2009. I promise you 2010 will be better but there are some pitfalls to watch out for and planning will be key. Check out my World Economy 2010 Psychic Forecast prepared especially for you :-)

Financial Future 2010?

Financial Future 2010?

January is not the time to start a new job or project. You may protest “But it’s the New Year, isn’t it a time for starting new things?” Interest rates and inflation will not reflect the true economic financial status so it’s best to focus on spiritual development and visioning this month. You may feel impatient and want to charge forward but I’d like to remind you of the story of the Turtle and the Hare. Slow and steady will win the race!

February will be the first glimmer of the financial markets resurrecting but it won’t be a dramatic increase. If you like to dabble in the stock market or are thinking about investing in shares, stay well away from currencies and commodities. Government bonds will be the best way to go. Planning to buy or sell a home? Don’t do it yet, hold on tight.

March will be the first time in a year and half that is an upswing of new business activity and increased cashflow for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Now is a good time to launch a new company or project. It is also a good month to buy real estate but not great for selling.

April, just when you thought the world economic stage was making a comeback, it’ll go through a rocky month due to political bills, juggling debt and not clearing it. Now is a good time to work on your Spending Vision for the rest of the year. If you haven’t already chosen an amount to set aside each month for savings, do it now. This will help you feel grounded during this time of instability.

May will see increased spending, particularly good if you’re in retail or own a store. You’ll fair better in business if you have a product to sell rather than a service that you offer. To benefit from this rise in sales, keep your overheads low and don’t make any major financial commitments this month ($5,000+).

June, the worst of the recession is behind us and you will feel the recovery if you diligently apply yourself to each step of your financial plan. For some of you, it may be a frustrating month if you don’t address your unconscious blocks.

July, you’ve been working hard and it’s time to take a rest. Taking a vacation will energize you for the rest of the year and you’ll have a clearer head on your shoulders that will stop you from making impulsive costly decisions.

August, if you own a business, you’ll likely find it thriving, compared to summer of 2009. People will be feeling more confident about investing into themselves. If you work in the Self Help industry, with a good solid plan in place, it can be your best month of 2010.

September is good for most industries. Teachers and colleges will find that they are the busiest they’ve been in years as Education becomes a big talking point on the worldwide stage with a renewed sense of value to investing in learning.

October will be month of profit for many in Show Business. This month, the film and TV industry will have more productions greenlit and a cash injection. Also the internet will experience another quantum leap in success.

November will be a prosperous month for healthcare practitioners, massage therapists, healers and psychics. People will find themselves wanting to take more responsibility for their finances and an inner drive to eliminate any lingering debts.

December will have better Christmas sales than 2009. The strain and stress that you may be feeling now, will have passed as you head into 2011. Trust that it will be okay to spend more freely without fear of your financial future.

Overall, 2010 will be a more prosperous year. If you’re thinking about changing careers, this a great year to make the switch!

Comedy santa Dec 09.jpg

I must confess it was the first time I’ve got dressed up and put on high heels in months! That’s me with my dear friend Rebecca Ross and Santa at a gala charity evening hosted by Baroness Kimberly Moore at The Laugh Factory. Some of the world’s most famous comedians performed, including Kevin Nealon from Saturday Night Live.

British Airways Future is Bleak

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

On the 12th Day of Christmas my True Love said to me…British Airways plane

It is a sad day for the British Airways Chief Executive Willie Walsh, the beginning of the end, even with a ruling in BritishBA_willie_walsh_June262009 Airways favor.

The Christmas strike is likely to be averted next Tuesday, but chaos will still ensue.

It is likely that only 50 percent of the British Airways employees will show up for work and there will be much dragging of heels. Scheduled flights will experience long delays and there will be unexpected cancellations.

If you’re still brave enough to travel, go with hand baggage! There will be last minute unofficial strike action. Ground staff will be hiding out, nagging and complaining over a KitKat and a cup of tea, while families with young children wait for several hours for their luggage.

Unfortuantely, Tony Woodley and Derek Simpson of the Unite Union will contribute to the demise of British Airways. WhatDerek-Simpson has been a difficult 2009 for BA, will lead to a catastrophic 2010. This calculated fight for a BA workers Christmas strike will result in those employees eventually being out of a job. Ironically, some of those BA workers will secretly wish for a job at Virgin Airways, even if it means being paid 50% less.Tony-Woodley

If only Tony and Derek understood that Willie Walsh’s plans for 2010 are not to take advantage of BA workers but to save the company from collapse.

Strike or no strike, the damage is already done and millions of travelers will forego British Airways for a different airline.

The only way for British Airways to survive long term will be bailout money from the British government much like the U.S. bailed out GM.
