Thank you so much for your beautiful prayers reflected back to me, I appreciated your emails:) I also had quite a few of you asking about my healing session with Howard Wills, I promise I will share more details on Friday about what happened!

I got a TV hosting request in from my manager at TVGuestpert. I thought it a good idea to do some research on the TV production company, who were interested in me. As I typed in the name of the company into my iphone and read, I gasped.

“What is it?” my husband Nick said.

I didn’t want to tell him, it was embarrassing, a skeleton in my closet.

“You don’t want to know,” I said.

“Tell me,” he said.

I took a deep breath to find some much needed courage.

“I hooked up with one of the owners of the TV company.”

“Did you sleep with him?” he said.

“Yes, he’s also a famous TV host in the UK,” I said, cringing. I felt so embarrassed.

That summer was a crazy summer. I had written a book called Confessions of a Psychic which I later on threw away because it was written during the peak of my love addiction. I was giving great relationship advice on Live TV but when the focus went back on myself, I couldn’t let myself feel my feeling. I attracted many clients to me who also suffered around love relationships and dating. As I’d tune in for a client, they’d often reflect back what was happening in my own life and spirit would channel the answer through me.

It felt awkward because I wondered if I was really giving true guidance however, at the end of the session, the client would say, “Wow you totally nailed what I’m going through and I feel like I can handle this moving forwards”.

I’m only sharing about my love addiction now because when I was in it, I was ranting and complaining about men betraying me, leading me on, using me. I was a total victim.

As I did the spiritual work, I kept healing. Some days it felt incredibly painful to be with my feelings but I have learned to be with the discomfort because I know the other side of this pain is an ocean of peace where I am deeply connected to spirit. It makes me a better intuitive, psychic and coach. I am able to see with deeper clarity. I see into the depths of a person’s soul. The beautiful lesson I recently learned is just because I can see someone’s garbage and smell it, yes energy has a scent to it as well! It is not my responsibility to clear their blockages unless they want to be helped.

I know many of you reading this are extremely empathetic, meaning you absorb people’s energy, what they are thinking and feeling, you take on, into your own energy field. When you begin to heal your past, things can feel worse before it feels better but know that if you have the courage to clean out the closets of your mind, heart and home, your life will improve in leaps and bounds and miracles will occur!

I went to see a healer. His name is Howard Wills. I haven’t gone to see a healer for a few years for several reasons and you can use this checklist below, when you are deciding whether someone is a good fit for you as a healer, psychic or coach.

Firstly, I needed to know that this healer had a higher vibration than me and was totally aligned with spirit. Yes and yes, he was!

Secondly, I wanted to know that he could hold the space for me to let go of what was holding me back from living my life purpose 100%.

Thirdly, I needed to feel safe enough to surrender to the next stage of my spiritual awakening.

I’ll admit I was nervous about going and seeing this healer because my past pattern many years ago when I got on my spiritual path was from a space of desperation. I was a total love addict and my intention of seeing a psychic or healer was to stop the obsession in my mind over whomever I was romantically involved with.

Seventeen years later, my intention had shifted. Spirit said I needed to get 100% aligned and that was my goal at this healing session. My husband Nick drove me up to the house in a gated community in Beverly Hills. This was where I would meet Howard. I didn’t know what to expect. I felt nervous, as I didn’t like feeling vulnerable. I did my best to stay open minded. My old belief system, “You can’t be spiritual and make money,” was ravaging my mind. When Howard came out to meet us, I felt incredibly uncomfortable because I could feel him see straight through me. I was the one so used to being able to see people beyond what they could see for themselves. Howard was dressed in a long white robe. Again, my mind wanted to go into judgment about how a healer should be dressed, “Was he a charlatan dressed as a guru?”

Nick took Dominick outside to play basketball in the private cul de sac while I sat with Howard. I could feel my ego mind squirming. I didn’t want to share my weaknesses but I did because I knew that this lower vibration needed to be transformed into a lighter more joyful frequency.

Even if you are no longer talking with someone, even if they are dead, their energy can impact you today. I have seen this many times when I’ve worked with clients in a psychic capacity. You may not have spoken with an ex-spouse for ten years but your feelings towards them and their feelings towards you will impact your ability to have a happy loving relationship today.

I went to see Howard to heal my family lineage. My parents choose not to speak to me. They have told me I am evil and that they can never forgive me. I used to think, I won’t be seen as a great intuition coach because I don’t have a wonderful relationship with my parents. What I have learned is the healing has to happen from within yourself. My parents are in my dreams almost every night in the last couple of months. It has been a great loss to me. The better my life got, the more my parents rejected me. I have been using this experience as an opportunity to become a better mother, wife and friend. I pray for my parents every day. Not to make them feel differently about me, of course I would love them to love me, but so they can heal because I feel their pain.

In the past, when I’ve shared about my healing journey, some people have emailed me offering me their coaching services or trying to point out there is something wrong with me. I share about my life to show that I am human and have challenges to. I embrace my spiritual growth because as I learn, I can pass on this gift to others who seek to know how to turn pain into peace.

The key is to feel your feelings. Don’t ignore or deny your feelings otherwise they will control your actions and you will feel imprisoned, powerless to change your situation.

Today here is my prayer for you:

May your heart be filled with the grace of God,

May your soul live its purpose with courage,

May your spirit soar with angel wings of light,

May your days be filled with laughter,

For laughter lifts the mind, body and spirit to a place of joy.

I wish I wasn’t obsessed. I’d like to be free of obsession. I pray, I meditate, I journal, I’m a spiritual teacher, author, healer, business coach, entrepreneur and I still OBSESS.

This morning as I read spiritual literature at 6am, followed by journaling and then prayer as to what words of wisdom I should share today, the word “obsession” repeated itself over and over in my mind. Oh no, really? Shouldn’t I be perfect by now? Aren’t I meant to have everything figured out and be totally at peace and one with Spirit?

Today my friend Mastin Kipp called himself out on his blog The Daily Love. I love that he does this because it creates the opportunity for breakthrough, healing and a psychic displacement of unconscious energetic blocks.

This past weekend, I obsessed over how my husband was feeling, that I didn’t have enough time, and feeling personally rejected that someone didn’t text me back. Then when I finally let go, I felt happy and present, I realized that my mind creates an illusion that I don’t have enough time for relaxation and that person did text me back!

Obsession wastes a huge amount of energy. On a psychic level mental obsession looks like life force energy leaking out of your head in all directions. It leaves you feeling drained, tired, unmotivated and resentful.

If I hadn’t obsessed over the things that weren’t true, I could have felt more gratitude that I have a wonderful husband and how he feels in any moment is not a reflection of whether I did or didn’t do something right. I could have been totally present in my body, appreciating the beautiful blue sky and the sunshine as we drove down San Vicente Blvd in our clean car with my family, after having a lovely brunch in Pacific Palisades, CA, instead of having a foggy feeling in my mind. I could have felt peaceful and happy that I have fabulous friends, instead of looking for a fault because of me not feeling worthy of love.

This morning I wrote a list of things I want to do that are fun, joyous, creative, healing and loving. As I looked at my list, I noticed I’ve done many of those things but made up a story of suffering in my head. I’ve complained without reason because that’s what my mind does on autopilot, unless I use my intuition to pull out the weeds from my mind.

How is obsession affecting your life today? What have you been obsessing over?

Here are 3 spring-cleaning tools to detox your mind:

1. Write down a list of everything you can think of that you’ve been obsessing over.
2. Read over your list of obsessions. Next to each obsession, write down what your motivation has been for the obsession. For example: Get financial papers together for filing taxes. Reason for obsession: I’m scared because I don’t know how much tax I owe and I fear I won’t have enough money left.
3. Focus on your intuition (inner teacher). Take a moment to close your eyes and bring your awareness into your heart. Feel yourself click with intuition. Then open your eyes and write down an action you can take to erase the mental obsession. The necessary action may be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, also the step that you may be guided to take is to wait. The reason this happens is because you are not yet in correct spiritual alignment to be able to receive the download from spirit.

The great thing about this exercise is it works at a deep cellular level. You may have some resistance to doing it. You might only write down three obsessions because you’re denial isn’t ready to deal with the other thirty denials that are exhausting you! This healing exercise is here for you whenever you feel ready to detox from denial and create space for peace, happiness and an abundance of energy.

I love spring. It gives me a sense of hope and excitement. Where I have been focusing on the negative, I have renewed sight. Things that used to bother me, I see as miracles. People that used to upset me, I now see as spiritual teachers, that we had a sacred contract to fulfill.

Spring is an opportunity to clear away paperwork, get clear on finances and become more aware of what we put in our bodies.

I have a burning desire to talk about SMASH again. My husband and I were watching the fifth episode last night. There’s this scene where Ivy Lynn, the actress who is set to play Marilyn goes to see her director, Derek Wells. Ivy has had a few too many drinks and she shows up late night at Derek’s pad. Their exchange was awkward. She had felt humiliated by the way he had treated her. He told her, that it wasn’t personal, then asked her to stay the night. I wanted to scream at her, “Go home! Derek is no good for you, he’s a narcissist and you are damaged goods”.

I had been in Ivy Lynn’s shoes in the past. Let me confirm that I have never been on Broadway, singing is not my strength but I did have a relationship with a film director when I was an actress. This man was a classic narcissist but I didn’t see him as that. He pursued me for many weeks and the more I said I wasn’t interested, the more he chased after me. I didn’t realize I liked the attention, even though I wasn’t attracted to him and then one night, after we’d finished shooting the movie, we met up for a late night dinner and I said to him “It’s never going to happen”. I believed with every part of my soul that nothing was ever going to happen because my intuition told me from the day I met him that this was a dangerous man, not to be trusted.

Later that night, our relationship began to my absolute surprise, however if I’d been giving myself a psychic reading, it would have been totally apparent that I was about to play with fire. I was in serious denial. As the relationship progressed, I became obsessed with what he thought of me and what he was doing. It was the unhealthiest, toxic type of love and it meant that I couldn’t focus on my work. Everything I did was with the desire to get his approval and so the deal I had with a big TV network fell through and I felt like a victim of Hollywood, used and abused.

Now I can look back and see that this director didn’t do anything wrong. He was being himself and I was set on changing him. My big time talent agency weren’t trying to screw me. I was naïve and didn’t know my worth. Today, when I feel the past pull me backwards, away from the blessings in my life today, I am aware that psychic healing needs to occur. As we form relationships, whether they are romantic, business, friendship that an energy connection is made at a soul level and this energy is connected throughout time and space.

Your past affects your present and your present impacts your future. Where is your mind during the day? Is it focused on a betrayal in a relationship? Is there anything from your past that is affecting the way you make decisions today? If you say no, you are not looking deep enough.
