Here are my Goals for 2010. What are yours?

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

I received an inspirational email from Dan Bradbury, so inspired I was, I focused on my goals from 5am while it was still dark and completed them at 7.15am, sun bright in the sky (I love LA) with my baby boy Dominick playing by my side (had to do a lot of typing with one hand and I’m getting good at that!)

Here’s what Dan said in his email…

I believe there are 3 primary reasons why most people fail miserably at achieving their goals and realizing their dreams;

1) Lack of a compelling enough purpose or ‘reason why’ achieving the goal is a must
2) Lack of accountability to stick to their goals from friends/colleagues/family when times get tough
3) Lack of an empowering peer group and/or mentors to ’show you the way’

So having spent the day getting clarity on number 1) yesterday I’ve decided to post my goals here to a) publicly declare my goals and thus hold myself accountable and b) inspire you to do the same! (you can see Dan’s goals at danbradbury.com)

Here are my 2010 goals because I know accountability works! That’s how I was able to write and publishing Unleash The Psychic In You in less than 3 months.

Who would you like to associate yourself with, who has already achieved or is living the life that you aspire to, here are my 5 people:

Joanna Garzilli “Oscar Acceptance Speech” plus Cool Biz Resources

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

Last week when I sat down to look at the draft of my new ezine Confessions of a Psychic before sending it out to the world, I was overwhelmed with gratitude and burst into tears.

There I was all emotional and Winston (that’s my dog) caught a fly and ate it, bless his little heart.

For those of you who’ve known me for several years, you’ve witnessed my transformation right before your eyes. There are a few people I need to acknowledge right now.My Oscar

Wow, I feel like I’m giving my Oscar acceptance speech!

And the award for most intuitive person goes to…Joanna Garzilli

I couldn’t have completed my book Unleash The Psychic In You (release date September 1, 2008) without the support of my husband Nick, Kim Castle and my brilliant publishing consultant Stephanie Gunning.

I wouldn’t have had the courage to step into the role I’ve chosen of America’s Intuition Coach™ without the guidance of my dear friend, amazing branding expert and designer Kim Castle. Wow, did she get me connected to who I am. Kim has the gift of being able to extract your power from within and make it tangible. I wouldn’t consider working with anyone else.

I also want to acknowledge Ali Brown who has been a great inspiration to me. Watch out, my prediction is she’s going to be the female version of Sir Richard Branson.

My other intuition is that David Neagle will be on Oprah soon. I attended his one-day event back in April and it was AMAZING. I left that event and my inner guidance said, “Joanna, you’ve got to change the way you represent everything you do.”

At the time, that panicked me so much. Yes me, the intuition coach who’s supposed to guide people ended up getting lost in Compton on her way back from LAX to West LA. That is what happens when you get in your head and worry about the future, it gets you off track.

Good news is I got home safely with guidance from my husband Nick on the cell-phone.

Fast forward three months to NEW me, new ezine and new website created by The Website Surgeon Adam Hommey and his wonderful team Tina Forsyth and Amy Taggart. If you’ve already tried to find the right person to build your website, you know what a challenge it can be to find a team who can convey your vision and do it fast. Adam’s team promises and delivers.

p.s. If you like the photo of me on my blog and you need headshots or publicity shots Lesley Bohm is your woman and ask for Don Malot to do your make-up.
