Do You Have a Never-Ending To Do List? How to Kick-Start your Monday Morning

Monday, March 29th, 2010

Before you launch into your busy week, I wanted to share a couple of things that have helped improve the quality of my life.

When I pick too many things to “Get Done” in a day, my head gets cluttered and overwhelm sets in. Before I even begin to focus on each of the tasks, peace has disappeared and I’m not present in my body. Then when I do get present, it is painful.

I find that when I approach several things at once on my list, I lack joy because my focus is on “Getting Everything Done”. Unrealistic goals cause me pain and frustration, which leads to self-criticism.

I’ve found that when I pick one task for the day that contributes to my Life Purpose, I feel good.

I’ve found that realistic expectations of myself stop self-sabotage.

When I slow down, I get more done! I also feel happy and I am present in this moment. Instead of worrying about something that has to be handled a month from now, I can appreciate the sunrise and the miracle of holding my baby boy in my arms.

Many blessings,
Joanna Garzilli

Why You Can’t Stop Your Mistakes Before You Make Them

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

I had another dream that I was going blind. I kept slipping in and out of my ability to see. I thought to myself “How ironic I’m blind and clairvoyant.”

When I awoke, I felt spirit around me, encouraging me to expand my vision. I must admit I felt scared. What would I see? What could I see? What if I saw something ugly?

I thought maybe it would be better not to look. Then spirit reminded me that had got me into a lot of trouble in the past.

“Okay God show me what I need to see. I know I can’t see what you want me to see, show me,” I prayed.

The following night I received a powerful understanding from a conversation I had with Neale Donald Walsch that helped me understand life purpose from a whole new state of awareness.

If you diligently apply this principle to your life, you will stop making mistakes and get the best outcome every time.

Problem #3 – You Gave Up Before You Started

Have you ever felt frustrated that you’re doing everything right and yet you’re still not getting the response you want?

Can’t understand why a person you love is pushing you away?

If the answer is yes, there’s for sure something you’re not seeing.

Solution #3 – Keep Helping People

Neale told me the way he kept increasing his awareness was by helping other people. It made me realize that anything I have ever achieved was born out of a desire to help others, wanting to see them happy, in love and successful.

The driving motivation for me to write Unleash The Psychic In You was my desire to share my knowledge of the sixth sense and how to trust intuition.

Whenever I felt blocked or didn’t know what to write, I thought about my past pain and how I’d wished this information had been available to me. That gave me the will and energy to write.

The intention of my book is to help people gain clarity and in this process I am continually having my blind spots revealed to me.

Transforming Blind Spots into Visionary Life Purpose

•    How can you help others?
•    What have you learned from helping people?
•    What would you like to gain clarity on that you do not currently understand?
•    Finances? Relationships? Health? Career?

As you help others, ensure that you also take good care of yourself. When you give, check in with your soul to make sure your intentions are clear without a hidden ulterior motive (or you will suffer).

Never help others out of obligation. Help because you want to, because you care, from a place of passion deep within your heart.

Eight Chakra Magnetism at Yoga Works

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Wow, what an incredible evening the lovely Kia Miller and I had at Yoga Works on Friday.Electric Energy at Yoga Works

I’ve never seen a room quite so electrifying and exquisite as Kia guided a powerful group of visionary leaders through a series of ancient mudras that have been held secret for thousands of years; and I led two special guided meditations to move everyone through their unconscious limiting beliefs, followed by a powerful guided visualization to anchor everyone’s life purpose into physical manifestation.

Joanna leading guided meditation at Yoga WorksAs I stood in front of the full class in Santa Monica, CA, my heart dropped into my stomach for a moment before I began the meditation. I remembered the past paralysis of my low self-esteem and here I was now standing before everyone as an intuition expert.

My husband Nick also attended the event which made me so happy. He said when we were doing the life purpose meditation he saw a golden ball of light in front of him, in his mind’s eye. He didn’t realize till that night he already had the gift of clairvoyance within him : )
