The biggest mistake I see people make is they shut down their emotions.

It is common for my most heartbroken clients to say they have no feeling in their heart and that they are numb.

Numbness is a sign that you have an intense reservoir of emotions beneath the surface that need to be released so they may heal.

When you stuff down your emotions, deny them, pretend they don’t exist; you create more pain and blockages at an energetic level than you can ever imagine.

How do I know this?

Do you know what happens when you ignore your soul’s needs?

Your higher self (the wise inner counselor) will kick your butt in every area of your life. You’ll think other people are causing you pain however as you become more aware, it may be an uncomfortable yet liberating experience to see that you created this reality for yourself. Hence my spirit guides use the term “spiritual butt kicking.”

You are meant to experience a life filled with love. When you overcome the fear of feeling pain, it will be replaced with a deep healing in your heart that will surround your aura in love, making you magnetic to true love.

You get to be your own Cupid. How cool is that!

Second confession, I’ve gone through post book blues this week. One minute I’m elated, the next I feel very vulnerable. I haven’t given birth to a baby yet however the energy feels the same.

I used to think, “What if anyone ever knew the truth about me?”

Well I’ve had to get over that fast because I’ve revealed my deepest secrets in the book!

Actually it’s a relief to be so candid because I feel a weight has been lifted from me. I don’t have to carry the intense feeling of shame and low self-esteem that cloaked my aura for many years.

When you get exhausted it’s often more than lack of sleep. You’re carrying unconscious energy blocks in your aura.

Your Emotions Control You Whether You Choose to Look or Not

Most people are scared to look at what’s blocking them. Thing is when you don’t look, only person who suffers is you.

This week, I’m going to share a powerful intuition secret to unblock finances and relationship mis-communications because I know many of you asked for this support.

I’m also going to show you how emotions can motivate you to achieve your goals.

I kept myself in the dark for so long because I tricked myself into believing that everything would work out in my life if I swept my fears under the carpet.

Boy was I wrong! It was like a bomb had been set to detonate and I had closed my eyes, hummed a tune with hands clasped over ears pretending that the explosion was not about to happen.

Big mistake!

Do you know how much supportive energy you discard when you shut off your awareness?

Understanding Energy

Energy unchecked can play havoc in your life. Your emotions are energy. This energy is constantly moving and you are this energy.

When you are conscious of the energy in your environment and the energy that you are, you have a great advantage. You can shape your life how you want.

Shutting yourself off to your true feelings and the surrounding energy of people and their choices can put you in a terrible predicament like:

- Handing away your power in relationship
- Running up debt
- Suffering depression
- Working in an unsatisfying job
- Feeling like a victim

That’s just a small list of the negative experiences you may have when you walk blind.

When you choose to remain unconscious, pain will manifest in your life. You can temporarily subdue pain with distractions like unhealthy relationships, bitching about people or the poor economy but that’s not going to address the painful feelings inside of you.

If you think you’ve become numb, it means a reservoir of intense emotions and a boost of energy for manifestation resides within you.

Allow your clairvoyant sight to open so you can see the truth of who you are.

Are you scared to look?

I know I was terrified. I thought it was too late for me. I remember lying on a bed at my Mom’s house with no money, crying my eyes out and feeling like a leper when it came to men. I was thirty-two years old!

You know what put me there?

I believed I couldn’t cope with what I would see.

I’ve since realized that the only thing worse than looking at my fears, hurts and disappointments is NOT looking.

When you look at all parts of yourself, you begin to heal and your emotions don’t control you anymore. They don’t make you do crazy things.

In time, your emotions guide you to powerful intuition and when you follow that intuition, you can achieve anything!

I must confess it was a surreal feeling coming home from breakfast with my husband Nick, seeing a box outside my front door and knowing that my book Unleash The Psychic In You was inside.

We sat on the sofa and leafed through the pages. I was taking in Nick’s reaction as he read, turned a page and then read it a little more. “What do you think gorgeous?” I said.

“It’s good, it’s really good,” Nick said.

I could see he was struggling to grasp how his wife had gone from talking about writing, to writing avidly until the early hours of the morning from our bed (me often asking him to turn down the volume on ESPN as I wrote, you get the picture : ).

Onebody Powerful Vision

Last week, my beautiful friend Tara-jenelle Walsch (she makes divine greeting cards) invited me to see her Dad’s metaphysical musical called Onebody inspired by his book Conversations With God and produced by musical genius Jim Coventry. It was amazing! I could feel my consciousness expanding as I watched, truly experiential and I highly recommend it.
